I finally tossed my old home printer and replaced it with an all new wireless Canon printer. Naturally, I believed it might be handy to setup my Amazon Kindle Fire HD to print wirelessly on the new printer. However a quick search in the Amazon App Store was disappointing. I realize that Canon bakes an Android printing app, but it’s not provided by Amazon. This wasn’t the very first time that your has happened and I also decided the time had come to add another Android store app – 1mobile market for kindle fire. Here will be all you have to do.
First, on the Kindle Fire HD check out Settings and Device and set “Allow Installing of Applications” to “YES”.
Next, start a browser in the fire HD and navigate to http://www.1mobile .com
Click on the picture on the phone and tablet.
Select the tablet version. The file can be downloaded in your device. Choose to install it. And that you are done.
I received my app with the Canon printer and it was please to get it. I realize that some general android apps will never work with the Kindle Fire HD (specially those that depend on interacting with Google), but there are several more which work fine, but aren’t provided by Amazon or will not be the latest versions available. Having the 1mobile market for kindle fire provides you more options.
